To improve our access and quality, we are introducing a comprehensive online triaging system coming soon to this surgery on the 13th May 2025.
This is a new requirement that will begin to be implanted across wider General Practice from 1 October 2025. Practices to allow patients to submit routine, non-urgent appointment requests, medication queries and admin requests via online consultation tools during core hours.
What does it do?
This will allow you to self-book appointments and make administrative requests, at your convenience.
What do I need?
To use this new system, ensure you have registered your email address with us.
What if I don't have an email?
To be able to book your own appointments you must have a valid email address on your patient record. Therefore, we ask you to check and update your email address.
How do I book an appointment?
Patients can book appointment via the practice’s website by filling the online form.
Can I use this online form for my child who is under 16?
You can still use the online form. But we will be in touch with you to book an appointment.
What time can I book an appointment?
You will be able to book an appointment 24 hours a day Monday to Thursday till 6.30pm on Fridays ( except bank holidays )
Can I still see a specific GP who I want to see?
When booking an appointment, the GPs with available appointments will be shown.
What do I do if I want to pre book an appointment?
All our appointments will be available. After completing the Rapid Health questions, an appointment within the practice or local services will be offered within an appropriate time frame.
Will all Clinicians be on Rapid Health?
Nurses and Health Care Assistants and appointments are not bookable online. This may change in the future.
I was not offered an appointment, what do I do?
If you have not received an appointment reception will be in contact within 48 working hours.
What if I'm unable to use online form?
For those patients unable to access Smart Triage online, we will continue to assist over the phone or at the desk.
What is Questions and Admin ( 16+) section
For nurse appointments, blood test, ECG, NHS Health Check, prescription requests and follow up appointments please use the admin request form or call the practice. For travel vaccinations you must complete our travel risk assessment found under the ” Questions and Admin ” section. Please complete this form at least 4 weeks before you are traveling. Please note these appointments are subject to availability.
Will Patchs still be available?
Please note that Patchs will not be available from 12th May 2025.
